I am a software developer and entrepreneur with 16 years experience at early stage startups. I enjoy taking projects from research prototype to deployed product as a technical lead, and working anywhere in the stack: backend services, ML training pipelines, real-time perception, and field-deployed hardware. My specialties are python, ML/AI, and cloud backend architecture, with an emphasis on IoT and robotics.
I earned my M.S. in ECE from Georgia Tech (2009) and B.S. in EE from UCLA (2007). I’ve co-founded two startups: Percept Biosciences (agentic systems for drug repurposing, $275K NSF SBIR Phase I) and Obsidia.ai (IoT analytics, vehicle anomaly detection, and logistics optimization). I hold 29 patents and have authored 18 peer-reviewed publications (12 journal, 6 conference).
Currently I work as AI/ML/CV & Software Lead at Padma AgRobotics, where I helped secure a $175K USDA SBIR grant for agricultural computer vision and robotics.
My core technical areas include computer vision (OpenCV, LIDAR / open3D), full-stack development (Python, C++), cloud architecture and deployment (Azure, GCP, Docker, Github Actions), deep learning (PyTorch, YOLO) and robotics middleware.
